- Inverting GT Plus and GT-V: When inverting GT Plus and GT-V Truss, GT Snap Braces (FF-715224P – 24″ Adjustable) are required. Snap braces are installed to the open side of the truss (opposite the backbone chord) at a spacing equal to the horizontal members. For a ten-foot stick of truss, this equates to (4) snap braces spaced at 28.5 inches on center. (3) for 8’ GT and (2) for 5’ GT. Snap braces shall be as close as possible to the same location as the built in horizontal members. Snap braces shall be installed in both simple span and continuous span conditions.
